阐明病原体的致病机制及其与宿主的相互作用； 筛选优势抗原及其表位、诊断基因，建立ELISA、Dipstick等血清学方法和qPCR、LAMP等分子生物学技术用于病原体快速诊断和基因分型研究；筛选病原体保护性抗原，制备重组蛋白/多肽疫苗和核酸疫苗，评价免疫保护效果。
